  SC-Metalyst 2.0  
 

The SC-Metalyst 2.0 material analysis system provides automatic measurement of various parameters in quantitative Metallography by application of digital imaging techniques. This software is intended to be used by industrial materials scientists and technicians who need improved solutions for quality control and product development.
SC-Metalyst 2.0 is designed for grayscale image enhancement, editing and analysis. However, if input images are color, they images are first converted to grayscale images and then processed. Acceptable image formats are .BMP and .JPEG. It provides some standard features for the analysis of ferrous alloys such as gray cast iron, spheroidal gray iron, steel, etc.

SC-Metalyst 2.0 automatically does one of the following types of analysis:

  • Graphite Analysis (ASTM E-247)
  • Phase Analysis (ASTM E-562)
  • Grain Analysis (ASTM E-1382)
  • Hardness Analysis (Vickers Method – both standard as well as Micro Hardness

The software program brailleTalk is intended for the use of visually handicapped and illiterates. One of the various ways of communicating with a computer can with the help of speech. Especially for a visually handicapped (VH) person verbal messages from the computer can be a great boon since he can then operate the PC much more efficiently.

The main aim of this program is to provide an interface between the PC and a VH person through keyboard operated using specfic keys and speech output for messages and help as well as reading whatever that has been typewitten by the user.

For data entry in braille a unique Braille data entry front is also available which provides entry in Perkins Brailler format.

The main feature of this system is that it provides fornthe first time interactively in Indian languages which use the 'Devnagri script '.

This system also has a provision for speech feedback in Indian languages primarily in Hindi.

Client was having a requirement of an indoor security / tracking system to detect the unauthorized movements inside shops or houses.

Solution Offered:

We offered them an imaging software solution for their requirement. The solution offered by us has following features.

  • It detects and tracks any unauthorized movement occurring in the restricted area.
  • After detecting the unauthorized movement, system raises an alarm.
  • Systems can differentiate between the unauthorized and pet movements. It does not raise any false alarms in case of pet movements.
  • System takes care of the situations like moving curtains.
  • System does not get affected by the earthquake effects.
